Gunbarrel Gateway.
The state of Colorado truly lacks access to public transportation by underutilizing the power of the train. Gunbarrel Gateway is a metro train station that strides to change that. With the use of recycled metals for construction, as well as the use of solar panels, this building prioritizes sustainability for maximum efficiency.

This project worked alongside an urban planner who mapped out the new and improved site. This site focused on sustainable transportation, open circulation and pathways connecting throughout the site, and utilizing natural elements including the train tracks and landscape. The design was inspired by the project titled “Transport Hub” in Poland, which was completed in 2016.
The interiors focus on spacious pathways for waiting areas and service counters, as well as outdoor amenities such as viewpoints of the Rockies. The incorporation of a skywalk provides an open ground level area for bike paths and pedestrian sidewalks.
